The Red sea probably didn’t part.

The NY Times is reporting that Moses was a myth and the Red sea didn’t part. That part of the story is a bit stupid (really??), but then has an interesting chat to Egypt’s chief archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass:

“If they get upset, I don’t care,” Dr. Hawass said. “This is my career as an archaeologist. I should tell them the truth. If the people are upset, that is not my problem.”
