James Watson is inherently gloomy about Africa

James “I discovered *DNA” Watson has stuck his foot in his mouth (again) by saying that he’s “inherently gloomy about the prospect of Africa” because “all our social policies are based on the fact that their intelligence is the same as ours - whereas all the testing says not really”…“people who have to deal with black employees find this not true”. Oh dear….

Once again something has been taken out of context.

The man said Africans as on the African SUB Continent where not as intellegent. Now this was a stupid thing to say but it is important to note that sub saharan africa was not civilised (as westerners know civilisation) until colonisation took place. It is not an intellegence thing it is a thought process……
As westerners we have had 3000 years to adjust to this civilisation thing. Sub sdahara has had 300 odd years. Perhaps he should have used that as a basis for his comments.

Basically I see this as a scientific Bushism.
