People with low self-esteem don’t like surprise endings
According to research conducted by Silvia Knobloch-Westerwick and Caterina Keplinger, and published in the journal of Media Psychology, people with lower levels of self-esteem prefer stories that don’t surprise them at the end. More info at ScienceDaily
